Goodbye my dear J-6s

For those who still don't believe that the PLAAF/PLAN-AF has retired its entire J-6 fleet, here is the CCTV report to prove it. I bet the PLAAF ground crew are partying like it's 1949 right now without having to support those rust buckets.

CCTV needs to provide its reporters with a better clothing style -- that purple is trash.

About time! China really needs some J11/J10 to replace those. All in all, good new =D

Those look more like JJ-6s rather than J-6s

JJ-6 is the only variant that remained as they retired all the J-6Ds long ago.

Hard to believe they were still flying these things! I'm waiting for the J-11B to start production. And then maybe a J-XX to start test flights??
